About Peelers Choice

Created by the administration team behind the Police Pension Challenge and following on from our Breaking The Monopoly -A call for amendments to the Police Act 1996 campaign, Peelers Choice has been created to be the vehicle which drives changes and improvements across the Police representation landscape.

Peelers Choice will be the body responsible for collecting and distributing campaign funding, maintaining transparent and readily accessible accounts and delivering timely resources and information that will equip its membership with the knowledge and tools necessary to campaign and navigate an Article 11 legal challenge. 

Where demand exists, Peelers Choice will seek to secure a range of protective group insurance products, aiming to provide on and off duty legal protection, life insurance, critical illness cover and other insurances tailored towards the busy and demanding life of a Police Officer and their families. We will also look at using the latest AI technology to provide you with access to quality advice, information and support on police regulations and employment/equality representation to assist you with day to day matters. 

Ultimately, Peelers Choice represents a pivotal step towards redefining Police Officer representation.  By prioritising and funding an Article 11 legal challenge, whilst seeking to provide legal protection and welfare support where the demand exists, we can reignite trust and confidence in the police workforce, build an organisation, which is reflective and responsive to todays policing demands and change the police representation landscape for years to come.
